About Ramon Dekkers
Ramon Dekkers, also known by a number of nicknames including "The Diamond", was a Dutch kickboxer whose career spanned 20 years and saw him win a total of eight Muay Thai world championships. He died tragically in 2013 from a heart attack at the premature age of 43.

He had two daughters: Robin and Quinty Dekkers.
Trivia
In 1992, he made history by becoming the first foreign fighter to be voted "Thai Boxer of the Year".
The Thai Royal Family honored him with a Royal award in 2013.
On February 27, 2013, he collapsed suddenly while riding his bicycle in his hometown Breda, Netherlands. Bystanders and emergency personnel tried desperately to resuscitate him but to no avail. He was pronounced dead shortly after he collapsed.
