About Puyi
Puyi served as the ruler of the Qing dynasty between 1908 and 1912. He’s a native of the Chinese clan called Chinese Manchu Aisin Gioro. He was named the Emperor of Manchukuo from 1934 until it was abolished in 1945. He was also recognized in Chinese politics and was associated with the National People's Congress, and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Family
He was born to Zaifeng, Prince Chun of the First Rank, and Gūwalgiya Youlan. He married Gobulo Wanrong in 1922 until her death in 1946. He married his fifth wife, Li Shuxian, in 1962.
Achievements
He was decorated with lots of medals which include the “Order of the Double Dragon”, “Supreme Order of the Most Holy Annunciation (Italy)”, and “Order of the Paulownia Flowers (Japan)”.
Trivia
In 1949, he was charged with war crimes and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.
