Princesa Leonor is a descendant of the House of Bourbon-Anjou. At birth, she became the next in line to ascend the throne as the ruler of Spain. She has also held other official titles like the Princess of Viana, Princess of Girona, Lady of Balaguer, and Duchess of Montblanc.
Family
Her original name is Leonor de Todos los Santos de Borbón y Ortiz. She’s one of the children of Felipe VI of Spain and his wife Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano. Her other sibling is called Infanta Sofia of Spain.
Education
The princess attended Escuela Infantil Guardia Real. She later moved to Santa María de los Rosales School, which is located in Aravaca.
Recognitions
In 2018, the princess received the Order of the Golden Fleece award.
Trivia
Due to her position as the Princess of Asturias, she was automatically named the chairperson of the Princess of Girona Foundation, as well as the Princess of Asturias Foundation.
