About Preity Zinta
Preity Zinta is a Bollywood actress who rose to national attention for her roles in the films Dil Se.. and Soldier, for which she won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her other notable films include Kal Ho Naa Ho, Koi... Mil Gaya, Veer-Zaara and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. She made her first international film appearance in the 2008 Canadian film Heaven on Earth. For her role in the film, she won a Silver Hugo Award.
Family Life
She is the daughter of Nilprabha and Durganand Zinta, who died in a car accident when she was only 13 years old. She has two brothers.
Trivia
She was awarded the Godfrey's Mind of Steel Award for her bravery after testifying against the Indian mafia in 2003.
