Former pro footballer, Peyton Hillis is best known for gracing the cover of the sports video game “Madden NFL 12.”
College Football Years
Hillis attended the University of Arkansas, where he made 947 all-purpose yards and 7 touchdowns in his sophomore year. He also helped his team win the 2006 SEC Western Division Championship. In the 2008 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Denver Broncos.
Pro-Football Career
He made his debut with the Broncos in September 2008 as a fullback. After sustaining a couple of injuries, he became a running back. A few weeks after the change, he achieved his first 100-yard rushing game, which earned him several honors, including the “Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week.” He later played for the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the New York Giants before his retirement.
Movie Appearances
Hillis made his acting debut in 2021 in the horror movie, “The Hunting”, where he played a werewolf. The film was directed by filmmaker Mark Andrew Hamer.
