About Paula Yates
Paula was a successful British TV host who was mostly acknowledged for her appearance on Channel 4's music TV show, “The Tube”. She started off her career in 1979 as a music journalist under the British weekly music newspaper, "Record Mirror." After having recorded an impressive career in the entertainment scene, her life was cut short in 2000 from heroin overdose.
Family Life
Her mother, Elaine Smith worked as a writer and showgirl actress. Her father is TV presenter and host, Hughie Green. She started dating musician Bob Geldof in 1976, they got married in 1986, but parted ways ten years later. She was romantically entangled with Australian musician, Michael Hutchence from 1995 till 1997. Her children include Pixie, Fifi, Heavenly and Peaches Geldof.
