About Paul Kossoff
Paul Kossoff was a popular English guitarist who was included in Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" list. The Hampstead-born musician was best known as one of the founders of the music group known as “Free”. He helped the band to record many international hits such as "Wishing Well" and "All Right Now”.
In 1973, after leaving the aforementioned band, he created the Back Street Crawler. By the end of 1976, the collective had produced two albums including “2nd Street”.
Solo career and collaborations
Kossoff began a solo career before forming Back Street Crawler. He named the band after his maiden solo album which was also released in 1973. His last album was 1986’s “Blue Soul”.
He also worked with many high-profile names. He collaborated with John Bundrick, Tetsu Yamauchi and Simon Kirke to produce an album in 1972 titled “Kossoff Kirke Tetsu Rabbit”.

He was the son of David Kossoff, an actor and Margaret Jenkins. He was the cousin of Linda Keith and Brian Keith
