About Patsy Palmer
Patsy Palmer, born Julie Anne Harris, appeared in her first motion picture production in 1984. Since making her debut, she has been featured in many films and television series but is best known for her Bianca Jackson role in BBC’s “EastEnders”.
Before appearing in the soap opera, she was cast in the drama series titled “Grange Hill” where she brought life into the Natasha character.
Family
Her mother was simply called Pat and grew up in the midst of two brothers named Harry and Albert. Between 1998 and 2000, she was married to filmmaker Nick Love. She later became the husband of Richard Merkell in 2000. Her children include Charley Palmer Rothwell who’s also known to be an actor.
Education
After graduating from Haggerston Girls Secondary School she enrolled at Anna Scher Theatre.
Achievements
Her role in “EastEnders” earned her the “Best Actress” prize at The British Soap Awards in 2000. That same year, she won the same category at the Inside Soap Awards.
Fun Facts
She’s known to be a fan of English soccer side Arsenal FC.
In 2005, she participated in the television show titled “Strictly Come Dancing”.
