Career Highlights
In 1922, she began her acting journey as a Mack Sennett Bathing Girl. Two years later, she joined the cast of Hal Roach's comedy project and co-starred with Will Rogers and Charley Chase. Following her success as one WAMPAS Baby Stars in 1925, she signed a deal with Fox Studio. During this time, she starred in a number of films, including “The Overland Limited” and “Fig Leaves”. In the latter, she appeared alongside George O'Brien and Phyllis Haver. The actress was also in “The Eternal Woman” and “The Mild West.”
Personal Life
Following her divorce from stockbroker Theodore Spector, she married John Moeller. That marriage also hit the rocks and the couple got divorced seven years later.
Trivia
Though she was one of the highest-earning Hollywood performers, a reckless lifestyle caused a lot of financial difficulties in her life in the late 1930s.
