About Norman Schwarzkopf
Norman Schwarzkopf Jr., also known by the nicknames "Stormin' Norman" and "The Bear", was a highly decorated United States Army general best remembered for commanding the United States-led coalition that drove the forces of Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait during the Persian Gulf War between 1990 and 1991. His other notable battles include the Vietnam War, for which his extraordinary gallantry earned him three Silver Stars and two Purple Hearts, among other medals.

He was married to Brenda Holsinger from 1968 until his death in 2012. He fathered three children with Brenda.

He was notorious for having an extremely explosive temper, which earned him the popular nickname "Stormin' Norman".
