Noel Gallagher is an English musician, singer, and songwriter best known for his time with the rock band Oasis, where he primarily served as the lead guitarist and songwriter, from 1991 to 2009. Although the band achieved massive success, Gallagher’s stint with the band was marked with his frequent public fights with the band’s lead vocalist and older brother, Liam. Their violent fights have affected both the band’s shows and Gallagher’s personal life as well, which was the primary reason for his departure from the band in 2009.

Solo Act

Under the moniker Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Gallagher continued his music career as a solo act, where he is joined by several musicians from other bands during tours and live performances. He has released two albums as a solo artist: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in 2011 and Chasing Yesterday in 2015.
