Early Life & Career
Miller was born in Fort Worth, Texas to an American father and French mother. She attended L’Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and later the Rhode Island School of Design. After school, she started working as a head designer with a dress manufacturer and then co-established Nicole Miller with her partner. Since opening her first shop in 1986, the company has gone on to open over 20 boutiques in the US.
Personal Life
Miller married Kim Taipale in 1996. They have a son together. She is a collector of modern art and French furniture.
