Growing Up
Mahut was born to Brigitte Mahut and Philippe Mahut. He developed a love for the game and started training in tennis at age 5. Mahut started his junior career at the age of 14 and won the Orange Bowl in 199 and Wimbledon Boys' Singles in 2000.
Professional Career
Mahut made his grand slam debut at the French Open in 2000. On the ITF Men's Circuit, he won three minor titles. Mahut jumped up the ranks to break into the top 100 in 2003. Mahut won his maiden doubles title at the Open de Moselle in September. He has also competed in the Grand Slam singles, Grand Slam doubles, and Grand Slam mixed doubles from 2015 to 2022.

The tennis star is married to Virginie Mahut as of 2021.
