Hawkins was part of the hit band Big Audio Dynamite II before going on to write and produce his solo album.
Career
Born in Luton, England in 1965, Hawkins developed an interest in music right from an early age. He became a member of the Big Audio Dynamite II band created by Mick Jones in 1990. He recorded the single “Rush” with the band and it became a platinum-certified album in 1991. Hawkins left the band in 1997 and took on writing songs. This British guitarist also established his record label P-Phonic Records, where he composed scores for films.
Death
Nick Hawkins suffered a heart attack and died in 2005. His solo album “Dusk Till Dawn” was posthumously released in 2006.
