Nena, whose real name is Gabriele Susanne Kerner, is a remarkable German singer and composer who rose to fame in 1983 as the main vocalist of the band Nena. The band is widely known for their song entitled "99 Luftballons".
In addition to her time in the band, she re-recorded several of the band's biggest hits to launch her solo career. “And everything dreht sich”, “Made in Germany”, and “Chokmah” are some of the songs she has written.
