About Nagma
Though she developed the love for acting at a very young age, Nagma, as she’s known in the movie world, had her first movie role in 1990 when she starred as Kaajal in the movie titled “Baaghi: A Rebel for Love”. Moving forward, she has been used in loads of film productions such as “Dulha Milal Dildar” and “Baashha”.
As a politician, she joined the Congress Party in 2004, and ten years later she contested in the Lok Sabha elections. In 2015, she was named as All India Mahila Congress’ general secretary.
Personal Life
Her original name is Nagma Arvind Morarji. She’s the daughter of Arvind Morarji and Shama Kazi, and has two step-siblings called Roshini and Jyothika.
Trivia
During one of her political campaign tours, she was reported to have assaulted a supporter.
