About Muggsy Bogues
Muggsy Bogues is a retired professional basketball player known for being the shortest player to ever play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). During his 14-year-career in the NBA, he played for such teams as Washington Bullets, Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets. He retired from the NBA as a player in 2001 and served as the head coach for Charlotte Sting. He also coached United Faith Christian Academy.
Achievements
Despite a height of just 5 ft 3 in (1.60 m), he was able to block a total of 39 shots during his playing career. One of the most memorable shots he blocked was that of 7 ft 0 in tall Patrick Ewing on April 14, 1993.
