Morrissey, also known as Moz, is an English singer and novelist.
Career
In 1987, Morrissey began playing music in the punk rock band The Nosebleeds. The Nosebleeds had minor success, but were short-lived. Before continuing his music career, Morrissey authored three books, including one about James Dean's acting career. Next, Morrissey and his friend Johnny Marr founded the famous band The Smiths. They were highly popular in the United Kingdom, producing four studio albums including several hits. Morrissey continued with a solo career after The Smiths broke up in 1987. Viva Hate, Morrisseys first solo album, made it to no. 1 on the UK charts.
