About Mollie Katzen
Mollie Katzen has been described as one of the greatest cookbook authors in history. With more than six million copies of her books published worldwide, the American is famously known for her 1974 work titled “Moosewood Cookbook”.
She has gone on to launch many bestselling books including “Honest Pretzels” and “The Enchanted Broccoli Forest”. She also worked with the Harvard University Dining Services as a consultant between 2003 and 2011.
Family
Her brother is Daniel Katzen, famously known for his time with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Education
She graduated from the Eastman School of Music before joining Cornell University. She was later trained at the San Francisco Art Institute
Honors
Her book “Moosewood Cookbook” was selected into the famous James Beard Cookbook Hall of Fame in 2007. Her name was included in Health Magazine’s "Women Who Changed the Way We Eat" list.
