About Mitch Lucker
Mitchell Adam Lucker started out as one of two vocalists of the deathcore band, Suicide Silence in 2002, and by 2004, he had eventually become the main and only vocalist. He was recognized as one of the band’s founding members, joining them in releasing their debut studio album, “The Cleansing” in 2007. The singer and songwriter also contributed to two more albums: “No Time to Bleed” and “The Black Crown” before his demise.
His musical career was inspired by several great singers including the death metal singer, Chris Barnes.
Family Life
He dated Jolie Carmadella (who became Jolie Lucker) for several years before their marriage in 2010. Their daughter, Kenadee, was born in 2007. After his passing, his bandmates organized a concert in his honor to raise funds for Kenadee.
Achievements
In 2009, he and his Suicide Silence bandmates won the “Best New Talent” award at the Revolver Golden God Awards ceremony. The album, “The Black Crown”, which was his final album appearance, also peaked at number 3 on the US Hard Rock Albums chart.
Death
He lost his life after sustaining fatal injuries from a motorcycle accident.
