About Miroslav Klose
Miroslav Klose is a professional German footballer widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers in the history of football. He began his senior club career with FC 08 Homburg II in 1998 before going on to play for clubs such as Bayern Munich and Lazio. He joined the Germany national football team in 2001 and represented his country in four FIFA World Cups and three UEFA European Championships before announcing his retirement from international football in 2014.

He was born to professional athletes Barbara and Josef Klose. He married Sylwia Klose in 2004.
Trivia
In 2012, during a match between his club Lazio and Napoli, he exhibited one of the finest examples of fair play in football when he scored a goal with his hand and quickly admitted to the referee what he had done for the referee to disallow the goal.
During the 2014 FIFA World Cup, he became the highest goalscorer in the entire FIFA World Cup history after scoring his sixteenth World Cup goal.
