About Mike Henry
Michael Robert Henry became a household name as a result of his work on the animated sitcom, “Family Guy". He had previously met the co-creator of the show, Seth McFarlane when the latter was a college student. Years later, he was invited by McFarlane to join the cast of the series.
He eventually rose to fame voicing the character of Cleveland Brown on the series from 1999 until 2020. He has also earned credits as a writer and co-producer for some of the episodes of “Family Guy”.
“The Cleveland Show”, which is a spin-off of the above-named series, aired from 2009 to 2013 for 4 seasons with Cleveland as the main character.
Family Life
He and his brother, Patrick grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He has a son, Jack, with his ex-wife Linda Murray and a daughter, Josie with his second wife, Sarah Voelker.
Honors
In 2013, he won an ASCAP Award for “Top Television Series” for his work as co-creator and writer of “The Cleveland Show”.
Trivia
He has been starring as Dann in the sci-fi series “The Orville” since 2017.
