About Mickey Cohen
Mickey Cohen was an American mobster. He was a member of the Jewish Mafia and the Italian-American Mafia. He was an associate of Al Capone and his brother, Mattie Capone. He was mainly responsible for the deaths of several gangsters and he was arrested for tax evasion in 1951 and 1961. He was sent to Alcatraz and he later became the only prisoner ever bailed out of Alcatraz!

He was of Ukrainian descent. As a teenager, he did illegal boxing in Los Angeles. He was married to Lavonne Weaver from 1940 to 1951.
