The American journalist is widely known for his works on television. He began his broadcasting career as a contributing guest on ESPN’s sports show titled “The Sports Reporters”. In 2001, he was named as one of the hosts of the television network’s “Pardon the Interruption” alongside Tony Kornheiser.
Private Life
In 2008, he and Cheryl Johnson had a son called Matthew Raymond Wilbon. He’s the cousin of football player Travon Bellamy, and broadcast journalist Carole Simpson.

He studied at the Medill School of Journalism of Northwestern University. Prior to that, he attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory School.
