Personal Life
Jacques Michel André Sarrazin is the name he was given at birth. He had much interest in acting and was given the opportunity to make an appearance in school plays. He met Jacqueline Bisset in 1967 and started a relationship with her. Their relationship which never ended in marriage lasted for seven years.
Career
He started acting professionally when he was seventeen years old and has been in a lot of shows including “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?”, “The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean”, “The Reincarnation of Peter Proud”, “Midnight in Saint Petersburg” and “The Christmas Choir”.
Achievement
In 1968, he was nominated for the Laurel Award for Male New Face. The following year, he received another nomination for New Star of the Year-Actor for his work in “The Sweet Ride”. He has also received the nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series during the Gemini Award.
Death
He was diagnosed with mesothelioma which was a type of cancer and in 2011, it claimed his life.
