Career
Michael Oher is an American football player in the National Football League, manning the offensive tackle position. After playing in the collegiate ranks for the University of Mississippi, he entered the 2009 NFL Draft and was selected in the first round by the Baltimore Ravens, where he won his first Super Bowl championship in 2013 after the Ravens dispatched of the San Francisco 49ers.
The Blind Side
Oher is also popularly known for having his journey in life featured in the Academy Award-nominated semi-biographical sports drama film The Blind Side (2009), which was adapted from Michael Lewis’s book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game. Oher was played by American actor Quinton Aaron.
