Early Life
Young League developed a passion for music as a teenager and by the age of thirteen, he was already playing the guitar. He went on to attend the University of North Texas where he studied jazz and performed with top gospel artists such as Kirk Franklin and Israel Houghton.
Career
League formed the jazz band Snarky Puppy along with nine of his fellow freshmen at the University of North Texas and they have performed with several artists. In 2014 the band won its first Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance for the album “Family Dinner – Volume 1” and their follow-up album “Culcha Vulcha” earned them another Grammy.
League has worked on over 30 albums as a producer or co-producer and he released his first solo album “So Many Me” in 2021.
