About Michael Finley
He is an American sports icon who played basketball professionally for a few years.
Personal life
His full name is Michael Howard Finley and he had had a passion for basketball since he was young. When he got into elementary school, he started playing basketball. He was a high school student of Proviso East High School before going on to study at Wisconsin then he successfully graduated after studying business management.
Career
He played basketball in high school and was part of the school team to win the IHSA class AA boys basketball competition in 1991. When he got into the university, he continued to play and his scoring record was unparalleled for over ten years. In 1995, he started playing for Phoenix Suns and got injured during the season but in 1996, he was sent to Dallas Mavericks. He then moved to San Antonio Spurs then Boston Celtics then he decided he wanted to retire. He is believed to be working as a film producer after retiring from sports.
Trivia
One of his icons and most favored basketball stars was Michael Jordan.
He is known to have been in the same high school with Doc Rivers who became the head coach of Philadelphia 76ers.
