About Michael Faraday
Michael Faraday was an English scientist, physicist and chemist.
His Highlights/Legacy
He is best known for his contribution in electromagnetism and electrochemistry, as well as his many discoveries, such as the principle of electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism and the laws of electrolysis. The System International unit of capacitance is named after him - "The farad". He is regarded as one of the greatest experimentalists of all time.
His Personal Life
He was married to Sarah Barnard and they had no children.
