About Michael Ballack
Michael Ballack is German former professional footballer regarded as one of the greatest footballers of his time. During his career as a professional footballer, he played for a number of clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich and Chelsea. He played for the Germany national football team from 1999 to 2010, during which he represented his country in a number of international tournaments, including the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups.
Personal Life
He is the only child of Karin and Stephan Ballack. He got married to Simone Lambe in 2008 and fathered three children with her. He and Simon got divorced in 2012.
Achievements
Some of his notable achievements include winning the German Footballer of the Year award on three occasions and helping Bayern Munich to win three Bundesliga titles.
Trivia
Throughout his career, he wore the number 13 jersey for all the teams he played for, with the exception of 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
