Meagan Tandy is an American actress who is mostly recognized for her involvement in movies “Survivor’s Remote” and “Jane by Design. She also participated in Miss USA 2007 and emerged as the third runner-up.
Personal Life and Education
She grew up in Fontana, California and studied at Etiwanda High School. She studied business and film production for two years at Chaffey College. She later enrolled in California State Polytechnic University and gained a degree in business management and marketing.
Career Highlights
She was employed to act as a stand-in for season one of the reality series “The Bachelorette". According to her, she didn’t like her role as a stand-in and decided not to be involved in such roles again.
Her first film role was in “Unstoppable”, a 2010 action thriller film directed by filmmaker Tony Scott. She was cast as Meagan Tandy and starred alongside Denzel Washington, Lew Temple, Kevin Corrigan, Rosario Dawson and Chris Pine.
She also appeared in other series and movies such as “Always a Bridesmaid”, “The Trap”, and “Piranha 3DD”.
Tandy has appeared in quite a number of TV series, including “CSI: NY”, “Single Ladies”, “Jane By Design”, “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Charmed”.
Achievement
She was crowned Miss California USA in 2006.
Trivia
She appeared in a number of commercials including a Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi Max. Tandy also appeared in a Trey Songz music titled “Simply Amazing”.
She created her own teen program called “Girl Talk” which held its first meeting in 2013.
