Personal Life
She was named Maureen Ann Tucker at birth. She was born in a catholic family and from a middle class family. She was the daughter of a clerical employee by name Margaret and a painter by name James. She was known to have a sister called Margo and a brother by name Jim. She fell in love with music at a very young age; she loved listening to Babatunde Olatunji and later became his fan. When she was nineteen years old, she started a career in drumming. She is known to have married at a point in time and had five children.
Career
She studied in Ithaca College but after she dropped out, she was invited by Velvet Underground to join them. In 1967, she worked with the band to release “The Velvet Underground & Nico” then the following year, the next album titled “White Light/White Heat” was also released. Other tracks he has worked on include “Modern Pop Music”, “Too Shy” and “Playing Possum”.
