Matty Healy is a talented English pianist, singer, and a guitarist who rose to prominence due to his association with the band known as The 1975. He helped the group to record a number of hit songs such as "Chocolate" and "Love Me".
In 2013, he assisted the group to record their first self-titled album. He played pivotal roles in the band’s subsequent albums with the notable ones being “I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It” and “A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships”.
His love for music began at an early age, which informed his decision to form the band with his high school friends namely George Daniel, Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald in 2012.

Achievements
In 2017, he helped the band to win the “Best British Group” award category at the Brit Awards. That same year, they also won the “Best Live Band” at the NME’ Awards.
