Matthew Davis, or Matt Davis, is an American actor who is best known for his roles as Alaric Saltzman in the supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries and as Adam Hillman in the comedy drama What About Brian. He also appeared in the legal thriller Damages and in the mystery psychological thriller Cult, where he played the main role of Jeffrey Dean Sefton. Davis also had a recurring role in the fourteenth season of the police procedural drama series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Film Career
His most notable film credits include the war drama Tigerland (2000), the comedy Legally Blonde (2001), the surfer film Blue Crush (2002), and the fantasy action horror BloodRayne (2005).
