About Matt Corby
Matt Corby is an Australian singer-songwriter, musician and record label executive. He first came to national prominence at 16 years old when he emerged as the first runner-up of season five of “Australian Idol”. In 2009, he released an EP (his first) titled “Song for…”. He scored his first chart success in 2011 following the release of “Into the Flame”, his third EP. His best-known singles include “Resolution” and “Brother”. In 2016, he came out with his first album, “Telluric”.
Family Life
He was brought up in Oyster Bay, New South Wales, Australia. He has a sister named Grace. His son, Hugh was born in 2018.
Achievements
From 2012 to 2019, he received three ARIA Music Awards and one J Award.
Trivia
In 2021, he launched his own record label called Rainbow Valley Records.
