Duval Clear is a popular American musician with the stage name, Masta Ace. He is a record producer and a rapper.
Personal Life
He used to be a very naughty young man, very known for mocking policemen for the way they treated young black men on the street. In 2000, He was diagnosed with a disease called multiple sclerosis. He however kept it to himself till he made it public about three years later. This happened when the Czech police, after stopping him, brought out his medication and showed it to the public while he was on tour. He had always loved music since he was a young boy but also had a desire to get a higher education. Later, he studied at the University of Rhode Island.
Career
In the year 1990, he released his first album “Take a Look Around”. He followed up with “SlaughtaHouse” in 1993. About two years later, he released “Sittin’ on Chrome” and “Disposable Arts” was next in 2001. After releasing the track “Ghetto Like”, issues between him and Boogieman sprang up concerning the title of the song. Boogieman stated that the track was similar to his, the “Ghetto Love” track.
Masta Ace also took his career to an international level by collaborating and getting featured in several albums. Together with Koolade a Croatian producer, they made the song, “Beautiful’.
