Mary R. Alleyne Hunnings, professionally recognized as Mary Berry, is an English television presenter who also doubles as a food writer.
In 2014, she began hosting the show named “Mary Berry Cooks”. In the following year she started presenting the show titled “Mary Berry's Absolute Favourites.” Mary Berry also appeared on the series titled “The Great British Food Revival”.
She is also famously known to have published over 75 acclaimed cookery books. Berry published her maiden cookbook entitled “The Hamlyn All Colour Cookbook” in 1970.
From the year 2010 to 2016, she featured as one of the judges of the baking competition series dubbed as “The Great British Bake Off”.

She is the daughter of Alleyne William Steward Berry and Margaret. In 1966 she got married to Paul John March Hunnings.
Achievements
She received an Outstanding Achievement award at the ‘Specsavers National Book Awards’ in the year 2014. She was also named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2012.
