About Martin Brodeur
Martin Brodeur is a Canadian former ice hockey goaltender who spent his entire NHL career playing for the New Jersey Devils and the St. Louis Blues. He also represented the Canada men's national hockey team on a number of occasions and helped the team win multiple Olympic gold medals. In 2015, he announced that he had retired from the NHL. Following the announcement, he was appointed the assistant general manager of the St. Louis Blues.
Personal Life
His first marriage was to Melanie Dubois in 1995. Four children were born to the marriage. Melanie filed for divorce in 2003. His second marriage was to Genevieve in 2008. The couple had their first child together in 2009.
Achievements
Throughout his career in the NHL, he made numerous achievements, including winning the Vezina Trophy four times and being among the handful of goaltenders to score a goal in an NHL game.
Trivia
He became a citizen of the United States in 2009.
