About Marti Pellow
Marti Pellow is famously known as one of the founders of the rock band called “Wet Wet Wet”. Before announcing his departure from the group in 2017, the Scottish singer had recorded six studio albums with them including “High on the Happy Side” and “Picture This”.
Solo career
In 1999, during the group’s initial breakup, Pellow began working as a lone performer. Two years later, he dropped his first studio album which was named “Smile”. The project contained a number of hit tunes including "Close to You".
His 2003 album “Between the Covers” was a compilation of his rendition of a number of hit songs such as “A Lot of Love” which was initially released by Neil Young.
Personal Life
He has been in a relationship with Eileen Catterson.
Education
Pellow attended Clydebank High School.
Trivia
A soccer lover, he’s known to be a fan of Rangers F.C. In the 2015 play titled “Blood Brothers”, he played the role of a narrator.
