About Mark Tremonti
Mark Tremonti is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer who started pursuing music professionally in the early 1990s. He is best recognized for his work with the rock bands Creed and Alter Bridge, both of which he co-founded in 1994 and 2004 respectively. He also performed in both bands as the lead guitarist. In 2011, he started his own heavy metal band named Tremonti, for which he has been serving as frontman, lead vocalist and lead guitarist.
Family Life
He was raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan; Wilmette, Illinois and Orlando, Florida. He has been a husband to Victoria Rodriguez since December 2002. They have a daughter and two sons together.
Achievements
He won a Grammy Award in 2001, a Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award in 2014 and a Loudwire Music Award in 2015.
Trivia
The song, “In Loving Memory”, which he wrote for Alter Bridge was dedicated to his mother who died in 2002.
