Mark Moseley is a former American footballer who made sixteen appearances in the National Football League (NFL), and out of the sixteen seasons, he was named NFL Most Valuable Player in 1982.
Family and Education
He is the brother of Pamela Moseley Carpenter, who was murdered by Johnny Paul Penry. He was educated at Livingston High School, Texas A&M University and the teachers college, Stephen F. Austin State University.
He is the father of five children.
Career Highlights
He is known for playing the position as a kicker and began to play officially for the Philadelphia Eagles, after he was drafted by them in 1970. He played with them for a while before he transferred to the Houston Oilers. His longest stay was with the Washington Redskins, where he played for five years. Throughout his NFL career, he was able to make 300 field-goal attempts and he achieved a total point of 1,382.
Achievements
He was inducted into the Washington Commanders Ring of Fame. Also, he received the Pro Bowl for two times and they include one in 1979 and the other in 1982.
Trivia
Moseley became the director of franchising for the American fast food restaurant named Five Guys.
