Mark Dacascos’ training in martial arts from a very young age was what helped him secure his first series of film and television roles. He made a name for himself with appearances in the films “Brotherhood of the Wolf” as Mani and “Cradle 2 the Grave” as Ling. He also played Wo Fat in 17 episodes of “Hawaii Five-0”.
Family Life
He was born to Al Dacascos, a Hawaiian martial arts instructor of Filipino and Chinese descent, and Moriko McVey-Murray of Japanese and Irish heritage. He has five siblings. He has been married to Julie Condra, an actress who appeared together with him in the film “Crying Freeman”. He is the stepson of Malia Bernal, an award-winning martial artist.
