About Ma'a Nonu
New Zealand rugby star Ma'a Nonu is widely admired for his ability to play in different positions. Mostly used as a center, Nonu has made a name as one of the greatest players to play in that position. He occasionally plays as a winger.
He started playing rugby at an early age but made his professional debut in 2002 as a player of Wellington. He has also played for a number of top teams including the Hurricanes, San Diego Legion, Toulon and the East Coast.
International career
Nonu made his All Blacks debut in 2003 in a Test against England. Since then, he has featured for the team in a number of major competitions including the Tri Nations, and the Rugby World Cup. He won the latter in 2011 and 2015.
Family and Education
His parents are Fale and Vaka. He has a son called Michael.
This rugby star studied at Rongotai College and Wellington Secondary School.
Decorations
He was named a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 2016.

In 2015, he became one of the 21 rugby players to win the World Cup more than once.
