About Lynette Fromme
Lynette Fromme became a national villain after her failed assassination attempt on former U.S. President Gerald Ford in 1975. Known to be one of the members of the unpopular Manson family, Fromme was arrested and charged for attempted murder. She was given a life imprisonment sentence after she was found guilty.
According to her, she took that action in order to send a message to the people polluting the environment. She further argued that she intentionally took off the round of her weapon’s chamber. After roughly 34 years, she was released from prison on parole.

In 1966, she graduated from Redondo Union High School. She also had the opportunity to study at El Camino College, but dropped out some years later.

She bought into the ideas of Charles Manson, founder of the Manson family, after her parents kicked her out of the house at the age of 19 years.
American actress Dakota Fanning played her character in the film entitled “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
