Personal Life
Lydia Anne Lunch is of German and Italian origins. Growing up, she moved into a communal household which had musicians and artists.
Music Career
She started a band called “Teenage Jesus and the Jerks” but they did not make any impact and fell apart. She became part of two more bands but still did not make any waves. In 1980, she started her solo career. She featured other artists including Marc Almond, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Rowland S. Howard. In the 1980’s, she started her own recording company called “Widowspeak Productions”. She worked on her own songs and spoken word for some time.
Acting Career
She featured in “The Vortex” where she played the role of Angel Powers; a detective. She was also in “She Had Her Gun All Ready” and “The Beauty Becomes the Beast” among others. Apart from acting, she wrote and directed some movies.
