About Lucrezia Borgia
Lucrezia Borgia was an Italian noblewoman best known for being the daughter of Pope Alexander VI. Her greedy and evil family, led by her father Pope Alexander VI, used her to advance their own selfish political goals by arranging a number of marriages for her.
Family Life
Her first marriage was to Giovanni Sforza in 1493. The marriage was later annulled in 1497. Her second marriage was to Alfonso of Aragon. The marriage produced a child and lasted from 1498 until 1500 when Alfonso was murdered. It was rumored that Lucrezia's family had a hand in Alfonso's murder. In 1502, she got married to her third husband Alfonso d'Este. The marriage ended with her death in 1519, shortly after she gave birth to her tenth and final child.
Trivia
She was rumored to have had a poisoned ring that she used in poisoning drinks of her enemies.
