About Luciano Becchio
Luciano Becchio’s career as a professional footballer lasted from 2003 to 2017. His first senior team was Mallorca B (2003-2005), a Spanish team which he got into after using his ancestry to get a passport from Italy. Between 2005 and 2008, he had stints with Barcelona B, Terrassa and Merida. He is perhaps known best for the years spent with Leeds United (2008-2013), where he scored 75 goals in 190 appearances. He retired in 2017 with Spanish team Binissalem. In 2018, he was appointed as assistant manager for Atletico Baleares.
Family Life
He has been married to Patricia Bosquet. They have three children together, as of April 2021.
Achievements
In November 2010, he was adjudged the “Player of the Month” in the Football League Championship by the Professional Footballers’ Association.
Trivia
Growing up, he looked up to Argentine striker Gabriel Batistuta.
