A former professional model, Linda Lusardi is an English-born actress and television presenter best known for her performance as Carrie Nicholls, in “Emmerdale Farm”.
Early Career
Growing up in Palmers Green with her parents, Lusardi always knew she wanted a life as a professional model and a TV personality. In pursuance of her dream, she began working with The Sun from 1976 to 1988. Lusardi also worked nude for Mayfair which mainly was a male-oriented magazine firm in 1977.
Personal life
Lusardi in the 1980s got married to Terry Bailey who worked as a bodybuilder. However, the couple got divorced in 1996. She later dated and married Samuel Kane, an actor and they have two children together.
Early Acting and Television Career
Venturing into television, she made her debut in the drama series “The Bill” (1983 -2010), portraying the girlfriend of Don Beech, a corrupt officer of the law. She later got a job working on the television show “Emmerdale” (since 1972) where she played the ex-girlfriend of Tom King.
Aside from building her acting career in television, Lusardi was a cast member in a number of feature films including “P.R.O.B.E. The Zero Imperative”, “The Krays: Dead Man Walking”, and “Consuming Passions”.
Reality TV Appearances
Lusardi appeared in the 2008 ITV’s “Dancing on Ice”, where she finished in the sixth position. In 2011, she joined the cast of “Celebrity Masterchef” and participated in the competition reaching the top five contestants that year.
