Linda Evans appeared in 1965's Western TV series, "The Big Valley". She gained more popularity when she appeared on ABC's 1980s soap opera, "Dynasty", where she portrayed 'Krystle Carrington'. She played the aforementioned role between 1981 and 1989.
Family Life
She was born to parents, who were both professional dancers, Alba and Arlene Evenstad. She has two siblings. She got married to American actor, director and photographer, John Derek in 1968 and their marriage spanned for about six years before they divorced in 1974.
She became the wife of Stan Herman in 1975, and they both stayed married for about four years, before they separated in 1979.
In 1989 she began seeing Greek composer Yanni. They ended their affair in 1989.
Achievements
She won the "Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series" at the 1982 Golden Globe awards.
She was named the "Outstanding Actress in a Prime Time Serial" at the 1984 and 1985 Soap Opera Digest Awards.
Trivia
She is a product of Hollywood High School.
Her first acting gig was in 1960 in the sitcom series entitled, “Bachelor Father”. On the series, she starred alongside John Forsythe.
