About Lacey Sturm
Since her debut as a professional singer in the early 2000s, Lacey Sturm has remained one of the most prominent women in the genre of hard rock. She is known by many for her time as the lead vocalist of the American hard rock band, Flyleaf which she co-founded in 2002.
She performed a variety of songs on the band’s first three albums: “Flyleaf”, “Memento Mori” and “New Horizons”. In 2012, she quit the band and decided to pursue a solo career. In 2016, she released her first album, “Life Screams”.
Personal Life
Since 2008, she has been married to Joshua Sturtm, a guitarist who has performed with her in her solo band. They are parents to three sons.
Achievements
Her “Life Screams” album made her the first woman to top the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart as a solo artist.
Trivia
